Bye 2020! Hello 2021!

 And just like that, Christmas has come and gone!  In a mere 4 hours, 2020 will be too.  As we ponder what 2021 has in store for us, I want to hear your New Years Resolutions!  Comment in the comments

Mine, you may ask, is simple.  Not gonna go crazy with a lot because I never stick to them.  

It's simple, to lose weight.  If I don't do it now, I'm never gonna do it.  So now that my seasonal job is over, I'm going to make myself get up and use the gym we have in our apartments.  At least do some sit-ups every day.  Gotta get rid of this fat! Of course, it comes with eating right as well.  I'm sticking to Chicken and fish!  If anyone has any food advice, please feel free to write to me in the comments.  

I will be recording my progress and maybe posting it on Instagram if I feel confident enough.  I've always been insecure about my body so hopefully, I can inspire someone, anyone to do the same.  Wish me luck!

Bad Blood

I have a small circle of friends for a reason.  Within that small circle, seems I have a frenemy.  Perhaps I can chalk it up to that person being very young and him not knowing better.  However, he's "grown" so he should be able to handle a little confrontation.  Besides, he is the one who started it.  Being as it is the end of the year, and I don't want to go into next year with bad blood, I've decided to write it out instead.  

I've been working a lot lately since the holiday season has started and haven't had any time for my small circle of friends.  I did get out the last two nights to chat and have some wine.  The first night, the frenemy and one of my original best friends kidnapped me!  We had makeup and wine night! Each of us had fun and it was muchly needed.  

Fast-forward two days, I went to one of my original best friend's house to do the same thing, minus the makeup.  

She brought to my attention that the frenemy told her to "watch her stuff around me".  

I was flabbergasted!

Mind you I've known her for much longer than the frenemy.  Still, I would never steal from them. 

Trust me there have been a million times I could have but I'm not that type of person.  I cherish my friends, even if we don't speak for a while, my best friends will always have my heart.  

To those people, they know who they are!

Anyway, I guess I was feeling some type of way because I felt like the frenemy was trying to come in between me and my best friend but she assured me she's known me long enough to know my character and she knows I would never.  

I've asked both of my best friends for advice and have decided to let it go.  Like I said, I don't want to go into this new year with bad energy.  And I'd like to encourage you to do that same.  Let the bad energy go.  Do not let your past reflect your future.

Its Been A While

Sorry I've been M.I.A.  Just haven't been the best version of myself so no inspiration to write.  I have even been a grinch for most of the holiday season which is not like me at all!  

However, there is nothing like Christmas movies, a glass of wine, and sitting by the fire to make your heart swell with the Christmas spirit!  My daughter is currently making smores! Yummy!  

Like me, I'm sure many of you haven't had the best year but being as it is the holidays, we must endure! 

The Christmas spirit has given me hope!  I know that sounds cheesy but during these dire times, a little bit of hope never hurt anyone right?

So, let's not let the negativity ruin our Christmas cheer.  And let us not forget Christmas is not about the presents, Its about the warm fuzzy feeling you have when you're with the people you love.

Let the Christmas movies and songs warm your heart like they did the Grinches and mine!

Covid 19 update

Here's an update about the COVID 19 in my household.
My daughter and I are still fine.  We don't have any symptoms at all.  Everyone that has come over has not gotten sick.  And yes we tell everyone that comes in, they come in at their own risk.  Other than that everyone has been normal.  Any questions?

Covid 19 Positive

It is with a heavy heart that I announce my little brother is COVID 19 positive.  Seeing as how I live with him, and even though he's quarantined in his room, I can only assume we all have it. 

He has shown symptoms of a regular cold, then he told us he lost his sense of smell.  Which prompted him to go get tested.  

I think everyone has gotten sick within these last few weeks.  It started with my mother-in-law, then my boyfriend got sick, my other little brother got sick after him and now the one who tested positive is getting over his "cold".   I call it a cold because honestly, he's not dying.  Thank god because I know some people need to go to the hospital for it.  And prayers for those who are in the hospital.

My Daugther and I are fine.  We have been to the beach multiple times, been back and forth to Houston, and been around Conroe.  I make her drink these packets called Emergen C. It's Vitamin C  powder; you can put it in whatever drink you want.  We usually just put it in a water bottle.  And we are constantly washing our hands. 

Other than that I've been drinking and smoking a lot since the quarantine started but we don't have to elaborate on that.

Women Injustice

My mother is probably the most crazy, dominant, independent woman that I will ever meet.  Being as such, she has taught me how to be just as crazy, dominant, and independent.

My close friends will tell you that I am very loving and sweet however I also have a bold, fun side and I will always fight for what right!

I have a friend whose boyfriend is controlling.  When they first got together, he was very mean to her and said a lot of fucked up shit  Like she's fat, how come she can't be like girls on Instagram, her food is nasty, shit about her family, thrown her clothes outside for the whole neighborhood to see, called her names, said his Ex was better, you fuckin name it. 

So she gets the courage to leave him, and she told me that he was going crazy looking for her, blowing up her phone, following her home from work, stalker shit.  I've known her boyfriend for years; I went to school with him so I couldn't believe what I was hearing!

So I guess during that time, she meets up with a friend of his that he used to chill with(don't take my word for it), they start talking and they do the nasty.  It broke that guy's heart and so he decided to get his shit together and tell her he wants her back.

They recently came over and he says he doesn't like her being a bitch to him and not showing him love.  But guys, really, you treat a girl like shit and not expect there to be a reaction?

She says since they got together again, he's always bringing up that guy and she gets turned off by it.  What do you think? Should she leave him for good?  Can their love not be revived?

I, for one, have done my research on my own relationship in the past and have found that most of it, shockingly, is accurate.  However, I do believe that a person can have traits from 2 different signs, one more dominant than the other.  Some people refer to it as your Sun or Moon sign.  Or I would just say your traits are mixed with the sign that comes before or after you. 

Which ones are which?  Well you'll have to do your own research because only you know your personality.  Mine, you may ask, is Aquarius and Capricorn; Aquarius being my dominant sign.

They Have Gone too Far

While the quarantine has had many of us pacing and pulling out our hair, my friends and I, have been getting fucked up the whole time!
My best friends neighbors did not like that.  I've talked about my best friend's neighbors in my blog post called, 'Absolute ain't no joke'.  So if yall don't know the whole story, be sure to check that out before you read, If you'd like.

So we had problems in the past with these people since my friend moved into this house.
Yes, the first couple of times, we would go fast around "their" corner.  However, we have slowed down and maintained below the speed limit of the neighborhood since that first argument we encountered.

My friend Derek Mainly is who they have a problem with.   He had the Balls to stick up for himself because he did nothing wrong.  They didn't like that one bit.

Weeks pass and we got together again to cook, drink, talk, and have a friend evening.  Derek just pimped his ride and got led color lights to go under his car and it looked really cool.  We showed up in different cars and once again they were staring at us, while we got out of our cars.

Around 9:20pm, I had to leave to give my boyfriend a ride to work and I came back around 10:30pm.  When I came around the corner, the neighbor's garages were still opened.  As I got out of my car, I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, however, I did notice one man peek his head out of his garage.  I, of course, minded my own business and went inside.

The food we made that night was amazing!!  My friend wanted cigarettes so we all hopped in Dereks car so we could check out his new lights.  Derek was driving, my best friend Celeste was in the front seat, her 14-year-old daughter and I got in the back seat.  Before we even took off, I looked to my right, out the window, and I notice what I thought was water at first.  I took a closer look, that wasn't water.  His window was cracked!  I turned immediately and asked Derek what Happened to his window.

He turned and shock and disbelief hit his face.  "That just happened because my window was fine before I came!"
The neighbors have teenage sons so I know them rich white folks have guns, be-be guns, or whatnot. Somehow we knew it was them.  It was just a feeling
Turns out, his window was hit with a be-be gun,  you could clearly see the hole.  We considered that a threat.
It was very upsetting and almost ruined our night.  He called the cops and made a report.  In the meantime we are supposed to catch them doing something to us on video.  Whether it be yelling at us or flicking us off, they said anything will help the investigation.

I will keep yall updated on the situation however haven't been to Celeste's house in about a week since it happened.  I'm sure we will get together soon.

My Books In Quarantine

If you know me well, then you'll know I love to read.  I, being bored, I decided to share some of my books I'm currently following.  Now I say currently following because most of these books are on apps.  And if you can get over the apps regulations, you'll come to find that these books/stories are so good.  Be warned, sexual content in some.

For the kids below the age of 18,  There is an app you can download called Webtoon.  The stories on webtoon keep me coming back and I find myself emotionally connected to the characters.  Some of you may have it already,  but if you don't, whether you're an adult or kid, these stories are sooo cute!

Happy 420!!

Hi everyone!
Welcome back to my blog.  Today, as you yall well know, is the smokers holiday 420.  All my family and close friends know I consider this to be a very real holiday.  I don't take my smoking rituals lightly. 

Today is about spreading happiness and love threw music and herb.  I love to take flight 420 everyday however, there just something about smoking on the day 420 that makes it more special.  Wouldn't you agree?  Let me know in the comments below. 

At this point, its been week 5 or 6 of quarantine and Its getting boring and my partner and I have been at each other's throats 🤣
All the schools in Texas have let out early for the summer due to the virus.  My county has lifted the curfew, there's more traffic on the streets and it seems like things are slowly getting back to normal.  However, you gotta wonder when things will go back to being completely normal again.

Anyways, I will be doing nothing but trying to be productive on my laptop.

I'm proud to say my daughters 9th birthday was a success! 😀  Even though, we miraculously pulled it out of our asses. 🤣 
As a parent, I can understand the need to give our kids a good birthday is important to us as it is to them. 

I love to see my daughters face light up with a smile when she happy. 💕
It makes me feel accomplished; like I did something right for once.

I will never have all the answers, there's no manual for parenthood however, I will continue help my daughter be the best she can be till the end of my days.

Did I start a blog because of quarantine?  Yes

Absolute Ain't No Joke

I don't know what it is about April Fools but when it comes around every year, I find myself internally dreading the day.  I'm so gullible, my own mom played a prank on me.  With all the jokes and laughs, I was feeling good . 

 My friends call me up and ask if I could a bottle.    Naturally, I obliged.😁   So my friend picks me up, I buy a bottle of Absolute and we go to our friends house up the road. 

 As we come into the neighborhood, my friend slows down below the speed limit(which is 20) because there kids in the road. Before we rounded to next corner, still going under the speed limit, there was an older guy by his drive way with his arms sticking up. 

We passed him, rolling our eyes and made it to my friends drive way which is a couple houses down from where that guy was.  
When we parked and got out of the car, we saw them people staring at us and heard a women yelling telling us to slow down.  

I was like what the fuck.  I called my friend to come outside and explained the situation.  
Those people came down the sidewalk huffin and puffin like they were gonna do some shit. 😂  

We told them off and told them to tell the kids to stay out of the fuckin road!  Roads are for cars not for kids!!!  We went inside and realized we forgot the bottle in the car.  We went back outside to see a crowd was beginning to form.  

These mother fuckers went to get the next-door neighbors.  Apparently  they thought they were big and bad.  White privilege at its Finest;  They were making a big deal because we didn't go the speed that they wanted us to go around the corner.  We were below the speed limit damnit, what more did they want?  
Do Ya'll Own the Fucking road?

 I don't know what power trip they were having but they were being very rude, getting up in our faces, and yelling like we were little kids.   We are middle aged people, at least have some respect. 

I wasn't about to let them ruin our night.  We went inside and poured ourselves some drinks and of course I rolled up a blunt and we got blitzed!!!  

I got too blitzed 🤣 I drank way too fast then we had shots.  I think it was 1:30am when I got dizzy and started to throw up in my best friend restroom sink!  Now I'm a night owl, I never go to sleep early, but man I passed out on her couch and woke up at 8am, still feeling dizzy.

I'm just an average person from Texas who likes to have fun with family and close friends.
A lot of my family members will say I'm the life of the party, however, I do find myself to be boring at times.  I'd say it has to do with how I'm feeling that day and the people I'm around.  I like all kinds of music
I can be very silly.
I love to see people smile and in-turn I love to laugh with the people I love most around me.
I love to smoke mary (4/20!!!) and read.  I'm weird, I know.
And when I get the chance, I like to turn-up and I'm not a good dancer but I believe everyone can dance when they're drunk 🤣

I've been fighting to stay with my High School sweetheart since 9th grade (2007/2008) and have a nine year old daughter together.  We are very Proud parents and we have our moments like everyone but we are careful to only let the love shine threw.

My best friend for the past 5 to 6 years name is Celeste.  We feed off each others energy and bring out the crazy in both of us. 🤣
This past Halloween, we did some crazy shit together.  SHE KNOW WHAT I'M TALKIN BOUT!!!! 😈
We've had a lot of wild adventures together and I'm after this virus thing blows over, I'm sure more are to come!!
